Barbara Mitchell

Barbara Mitchell is a dynamic faith leader, mentor, and speaker dedicated to lighting the way for healing, homecoming, and purpose. As founder of Waters of Hope Int’l Ministries, Deborah’s Coalition, and Deborah’s Well: The Arising – The Prophetic Mentorship Collective, she empowers believers—especially women—to embrace prophetic identity and walk boldly in their calling.

With a ministry journey beginning at age nine, Barbara has served as worship leader, women’s ministry director, youth pastor, and life-faith coach. Married for over 41 years and a homeschooling mom of two, she combines spiritual insight with practical experience.

Grounded in 1 Corinthians 2:4–5, Barbara ministers with accuracy through words of wisdom, knowledge, and prophetic revelation. Through conferences, healing sessions, published works, and creative media, she inspires spiritual transformation and community impact.

Operating under Believer’s Ministries, Inc. (DBA Waters of Hope Int’l Ministries), Barbara builds Kingdom-minded communities—through WHIM I‑Church, Deborah’s Coalition, and mentorship in Deborah’s Well—all united by the belief: “There is nothing too hard for God when you walk by faith.”

Jason Mitchell

Co-Founder-Apostle -Teacher-Author

Apostle Jason Mitchell is a passionate preacher of God's Word, committed to helping believers walk boldly and with integrity in their divine calling and destiny. Known for his depth in the Word, he teaches from a firm conviction that the Lord still watches over His promises to perform them (Jeremiah 1:12), and that the gifts and callings of God are without repentance (Romans 11:29).

Jason holds a Bachelor of Arts in Theology and is gifted in teaching the Word of God across every level — from leadership to the everyday believer, with a strong heart for discipleship. He is the author of two books: The Gift, winner of the HENRI Award, and God's Ambassador. The Gift lays the foundation for the Christian life — breaking down salvation, baptism, the Holy Spirit, worship, spiritual warfare, and giving into simple, applicable teaching so believers can build their faith on solid ground. He believes that once God plants His Word in you, you can't sit still with it — you're called to share your faith and help reconcile others to Christ.

Jason has been married to Barbara for 42 years. He is a grandfather of three and enjoys fishing in his free time.

Kathryn Mitchell-Giese

Prophetic Minister

Kathryn Giese has been involved in ministry since the age of three, carrying a lifelong passion for helping people encounter Jesus, discover their God-given purpose, and embrace who they are becoming. Her ministry has taken her internationally, including two crusade and outreach trips to Cuba, and her life has been shaped by witnessing the miraculous power and faithfulness of God. A graduate of Tulane University with degrees in Health & Wellness and Legal Studies, Kathryn has also received an honorary doctorate in recognition of her humanitarian work. She is an author, wife, mother, and the Founder and Owner of The Method of Becoming Co., where her passion for faith, wellness, purpose, and whole-person transformation continues beyond the walls of traditional ministry. Above all, Kathryn’s heart is to love people, point them toward Jesus, and remind them that no season of their story is wasted in the hands of God.

James and Rhonda Rousselle

Pastors

James and Rhonda Rousselle's journey to ministry began separately, each finding their own path to Christ before God brought them together in purpose.

James was awakened by God in 2003, giving his life to Jesus Christ and beginning a deep study of His Word (Romans 13:11). He went on to complete a year of Bible college and served as a door greeter at Life Church in Walker (Psalm 84:10). Rhonda's faith took root early — she loved church as a girl, gave her life to Jesus in her teens, and received the gift of the Holy Spirit in her twenties (Acts 2:38).

In 2015, James and Rhonda began attending Waters of Hope International Ministries, where they were taught and mentored by Apostles Jason and Barbara Mitchell. That same year, God healed Rhonda through the ministry — an experience that deepened their faith and commitment. On April 15, 2022, James and Rhonda were ordained as pastors with Waters of Hope International Ministries (1 Timothy 4:14).

Together, their heart is to see people saved, healed, delivered, and set free by the Word of God and the power of Jesus Christ (Ephesians 2:8-9, Romans 10:9-10).
